Position Overview:

This position is responsible for communicating and supporting JM core values and delivering the JM experience.

The Warehouse Coordinator has overall responsibility for coordinating and managing assigned resources and employees to provide high quality service safely and efficiently. Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for managing/overseeing the entire flow of all materials into the warehouse, inventories, and customer order flow to insure seamless flow of materials out to customers without any quality or service failures.


  • Coordinate all pre-shipment documentation activities to ensure there are no customer shipping errors.
  • Responsible for 100% compliance with all HAZMAT shipments including proper documentation and record keeping.
  • Plant liaison for coordinating with corporate and carrier dispatching and responsible for occasional special shipments.
  • Review all customer orders daily to insure inventory levels are adequate, ship and delivery dates meet customer needs, and load size minimizes transportation cost.
  • Ensure accurate loading 100% of the time for customer shipments by becoming familiar with total product line so all orders are exact for the job.
  • Communicate all customer order issues promptly and accurately to appropriate customer service representative and plant personnel.
  • Maintain proper labeling and identification forms for customers (Packing slips, LTL labels).
  • Working with other plants for transferring product.
  • Manage all short lead time shipping commitments.
  • Verify all production counts are accurate and corrections are made promptly.
  • Reconcile all cycle count differences and perform RCCAs where needed.
  • Perform RCCAs for all mis-shipments
  • Verify that all PO’s for all resale items are accurately receive and entered inventory
  • Receive, check and deliver supply shipments coming into the plant from all vendors.
  • Backup to both warehouse material handlers and warehouse supervisor.
  • Train all Warehouse Material Handlers and complete forklift certifications.
  • Coordinate space planning for daily production.
  • Prepare/follow JSA’s, uses safe work practices, and always reports hazardous conditions.
  • Wears protective clothing & equipment as required.
  • Follow all Johns Manville safety procedures and policies.

Requirements: (education, skills and abilities)

Must have CDL. Must be able to tolerate heat/cold and outdoor conditions, good vision, hearing, speaking, and finger dexterity skills as required. The ability to set up and follow simple work plans and communicate with co-workers is essential. Basic analytical and computer skills are necessary. Employee must pass forklift and all plant related safety program tests. Be qualified to lead the daily production requirements of the TPO manufacturing process.
