The Seasonal Customer Service Representative will possess excellent leadership and organizational skills, proficiency with computer systems, and the capacity to work both autonomously and in a team environment, all while maintaining a positive attitude at all times.
ABOUT THE JOB
This position is seasonal and is a 90-day (about 3 months) contract. Strong performers may be offered the opportunity to join the Customer Support team in a regular full-time role at the end of the season.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Provides prompt and considerate service to all customers.
Ensures that all requests/required data entry is accurate and completed on time.
Maintains performance levels to specified goals.
Perform additional functions in both internal and external departments where needed to meet business needs.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or GED.
Contact center or customer service experience preferred.
COMPETENCIES (SKILLS AND ABILITIES):
Knowledge of customer relations theory and practices.
Skills in operating computers.
Spanish speaking skills are a plus.
Ability to pay attention to detail and retain information readily.
REMOTE TECHNOLOGY REQUIREMENTS:
Remote position requires access to high-speed Cable or Fiber Optic internet with a modem or wireless box. Connection must be hard-lined into modem or wireless box. Candidates with Satellite and DSL internet will not be considered as these connections are NOT compatible with Covetrus’s internet phone system.
Must own a mobile device that has the capability to download and access the Okta Verify application (free app).
Applicants or a member of their household must be personally responsible for the bill received from their internet service provider in the event any IP address modifications are needed
