Your Role and Responsibilities
TruQua, an IBM Company is continuously thinking ahead when it comes to cutting-edge solutions for customers embarking on their financial and digital transformation journey. SAP has made a big impact in the insurance industry since the release of its Collections and Disbursements product, which consolidates processes, functions and communications involved in sub-ledger accounting in the insurance sector. We are actively recruiting for senior-level SAP FS-CD consultants who are driven and will bring an entrepreneur mindset to help our customers innovate successfully, and with confidence in our world-class expertise.

The role will involve deployment of modern SAP Financial offerings, requiring both functional and technical expertise to develop SAP FS-CD solutions and best address our customers’ needs.

In this role, the SAP FS-CD Program Manager will work directly with customers for hands-on delivery, as well as strategic insights on how to run programs/projects efficiently from blueprint to go-live. This position requires the ability to work and communicate as part of a high-performance consulting team in a fast-paced environment.

Your job duties will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Leverage Finance expertise, as well as SAP techno-functional skills and experience and industry knowledge to identify complex client issues and build long-term business relationships with key executives through engagement delivery
  • Intelligently guide customers through their financial processes and best practices related to account reconciliations and mass journal posting templates
  • Lead the Business Process and Solution Architecture design sessions; Create functional specifications for development requirements
  • Lead and manage team(s) where relevant; can understand the end-goals and delegate tasks to successfully meet deliverables on time & within scope
  • Perform initial setup, prototype, configuration, and testing to support the design sessions and to fulfill the customer’s business requirements
  • Design and document the required configurations for the SAP FS-CD solution(s) per the blueprint, including documenting test results, and support go-live efforts
  • Recommend best practices for configuring SAP FS-CD considering the overall architecture to achieve integration, high performance and stability
  • Work closely with end users to design the proper SAP FS-CD solution(s) to support defined business processes and business requirements
  • Actively participate in training and knowledge transfer sessions to enable end users to understand SAP FS-CD
  • Provide support for applicants to include problem identification, reporting, tracking analysis and resolution
  • Provide continuous feedback on project status and offer constructive options to ensure project continues to meet original expectations
  • Utilize technical and industry knowledge to identify complex client issues and build long-term business relationships with key executives through engagement delivery, as well as networking in professional organizations

  • Contribute thought leadership to the development and growth of our TruQua/IBM brand and intellectual capital by, among others: Publishing articles, white papers, and/or speaking at select domestic and/or global SAP conferences
  • Participate in sales and pre-sales activities for TruQua, an IBM Company as they pertain to SAP FS-CD and/or other related fields, including networking
  • Continuously demonstrate and deliver strong and highly professional customer service commitment.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • At least 7 years of experience in SAP Finance with financial services expertise i.e. SAP Bank Analyzer, SAP Insurance Analyzer, or other relevant predecessor products to FPSL
  • At least 7 years of hands-on business experience in SAP Finance with financial services expertise, namely SAP Bank Analyzer, SAP Insurance Analyzer
  • At least 5 end-to-end implementations from project preparation to go-live in SAP Finance with financial services with hands-on experience in Configuring Collection and Disbursement process
  • At least 4 years of expertise in SAP FS-CD processes and functionality with demonstrated experience in process implementation and optimization in the areas of Billing and Disbursement using SAP FS-CD
  • At least 4 years of knowledge in SAP ABAP with ODATA
  • At least 5 years work experience in a consulting firm
  • At least 5 years of solid business process knowledge and business process blue printing experience
  • At least 4 years of experience selling finance transformation programs, including strategic alignment with executives, solution development, and closing business
  • Knowledge of SAP ERP and latest SAP Financial tools a must
  • Must have a Financial Services and/or an Accounting background for SAP FS-CD
  • Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field from an accredited college/university
  • Demonstrated track record of leadership, client management, and delivery
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Articulate with impeccable verbal and written communication skills in English. Strong & discerning listener
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Product expertise and hands-on business experience in Smart Close, Intercompany Hub, Variance and Compliance
  • Knowledge of upcoming changes in SAP Finance landscape, as well as an eagerness to learn, prototype, and grow expertise in the latest relevant financial technologies
  • Thirst for knowledge and eagerness to learn and grow skills in new areas.
