Power, Parts and Aftermarket Sales (regional) is responsible for sales directly related to Zeeco’s Power business. The primary responsibility is to identify sales opportunities for Power, Refinery, Chemical, Pulp and Paper, and wherever Zeeco’s power business can be grown. This role will require site visits and travel in the assigned territory as well creating, building, and maintaining relationships with key industry personnel. This position will work closely with Power Management, other Sales Personnel, and Zeeco’s service group.

Essential Functions

  • Operate from populated, regional hit-list, calling on the customers provided as a regular operation of duties
  • Develop personal relationships with key decision makers within each assigned facility
  • Actively seek out Power-AMB sales opportunities within the assigned customer base and develop new leads and relationships outside of the outlined customer base
  • Attend meetings (virtually), supplying weekly or bi-weekly updates on customer base, sales, sales potential, intel, and needed operational input
  • Develop new (unlisted) regional opportunities and markets
  • Operate against outlined financial targets, working to attain the specified totals for the assigned regional market
  • Leverage in-place and new relationships to seek out new opportunities to grow the Power-AMB initiative
  • Handle light Project Engineering tasks, as dictated by the nature of the AMB. This may include:
  • Isolating 3rd party manufacturing and vendors, as needed
  • Outlining/ identifying product design to retrofit others’ equipment as needed
  • Gathering pertinent information for proper fitment, sizing, voltage, amperage, etc. (cradle to the grave role)
  • Assists in providing advice and contacts within Zeeco to assist clients’ needs
  • Participate in negotiations and quotes as needed
  • Provide onsite sale support and feedback as required by project demands
  • This role will require coordinating and attending meetings, potentially trades shows, and entertainment activities with coworkers and clients.
  • Performs other responsibilities as directed by management


  • A minimum of 5-years’ experience in power generation or boiler sales and service for canning, pulp and paper, or other industry knowledge of steam generation and combustion. Some concession on experience in industry may be taken for the appropriate candidate(s)
  • Advanced interpersonal skills including the ability to make cold calls, negotiate contracts, work with customers, and the ability to speak confidently concerning the client/ customers’ needs
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical information. This will require fundamental math skills, the ability to read and report financials, and the ability to understand or learn legal documents and terms
  • Moderate computer skills including word, excel, PowerPoint, or others are needed by the position
  • Strong organization and self-functioning skills including the ability to work with little direction and oversight, as required by location and work demand
  • Focused and goal oriented
