Freedom Comes With Money

Welcome to the world of money. You will learn how to make smart money decisions. My goal is to make enough money, save enough money, and manage money well enough so work is optional for the rest of my life. I want to live a life of financial freedom if I can find the best ways to make and manage money. I don’t want to spend all of my time making money or thinking about money and I’m sure you don’t either – I want to be able to do the things I love, like traveling to random places on a whim with my wife, upgrading to first class, eating the best food in the world, drinking the best wine, and jamming with my friends. No matter how long it takes, I will make it happen.

I want to live a good life. I want to live a good life filled with meaningful experiences.

If you are going to take this journey with me, you should get to know me. We can make memories that will last a lifetime. I brought you here to read my first post. It has some real feelings in it. The song could appeal to a lot of people. Here we go. I have always wanted to make money. I’ve been working hard to make that dream a reality. I think a lot of kids like this, but I took it to the extreme. I set up lemonade stands, mowed yards, shoveled snow, watched dogs, watched cats, and even started a weekly newsletter that I sold a subscription to for $10/year. Money-saving tips and do-it-yourself projects are topics that people want to read about. I did it all, but where did the drive to make money come from? I’m determined to use this drive to make a difference in the world, but it’s still a mystery to me. I think it came from my Dad, who used to tell me that money was freedom. He used to say that the more money you have, the more choices you have. I think I got my deep drive and interest in money there. If I had enough money, I could do what I wanted. I wanted to make that dream a reality.

Money is freedom is the ability to do whatever you want when you wake up. Money can provide the freedom to make choices and create your own destiny. Work is optional in freedom. The power to choose how to spend your time and energy is what living in freedom means. You can spend your time pursuing your passion and living the life you want to live. This can lead to a better sense of purpose in life. People spend their lives without passion. Living without passion can lead to a life of emptiness and regret, so it’s important to find something that makes you excited to get up each morning. They have a blank look in their eyes when you pass them on the street or subway. I feel sad for them because they may never get the chance to truly experience life. They are the “get up go to work… come home go to sleep….wake up repeat people.” People freak me out. I don’t think I will be comfortable around them. The deadness to them is what they have. There is a void of life in them. I can tell that work is killing them because I don’t know their story or where they came from. Their health wouldn’t be in a poor state if they had the chance to live a different life. It is wearing them down. Keeping up with their workload is taking a toll on them. I’m worried about becoming one of those people. I have been working 70+ hour weeks for the past 5 years and I don’t want to do it forever. I’m looking for a job that will allow me to balance my work and personal life. In fact I think I have about 5 more years left, but that means I have to get focused and figure all this investing stuff out.

How can I make work optional and live the life I want to live? One way to make work optional is to focus on creating multiple streams of income that are easy to maintain. It’s a simple equation:

Money = Time = Freedom

I want to have enough money so I don’t have to work for it. I want to make sure that I’m making smart decisions with my finances so that I can reach my goal. I need to make enough money to buy my own time or be your own boss. I would like to wake up in the morning and have the whole day ahead of me. I’m going to savor the moment, knowing that I have a full day ahead of me. I want to wake up in a beautiful place, hang out with my wife and kids, drink good coffee, and get involved in projects I am excited about. I want to explore the world with my family, experience different cultures, and create lifelong memories. I want to be present in my relationships. I want to live a life full of purpose and meaning, while still allowing myself time to relax and enjoy the little things. I want to take a break.

One of the reasons I am writing this is that I want to collect my thoughts. By sharing my thoughts and experiences through writing, I’m hoping to open up a dialogue with others. Writing makes me think slower and I need that. It was crazy that people paid you for your time. It’s amazing how trading your time for money can change your life. If you are being paid for an hour of your life, then whatever you are making per hour is what you are getting. It’s important to think about the value of your time. Have you ever considered what an hour of your life is worth? To maximize the value of your time, it’s important to reflect on how you are spending your hours and make sure that they are being used in a way that brings meaning to your life. If you don’t inherit a lot of money or get really lucky, then you have to sell your time to make money.

How do you make enough money for work to be optional? One way to make enough money so work is optional is to save a significant portion of your income and invest it in assets that generate passive income. Solid plan is what you need. Simple saving, investing, and wealth management is involved. Ensuring that your money is working for you in the most effective way is something a good financial plan can do. There are tried and true principles that will give you a good chance of having enough money so you can do what you want. We can live a good life. We need to work hard now so that we can enjoy the rewards later in life.
