Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be a recently transitioned military veteran, military spouse, or actively serving National Guard or Reservist

Preferred Qualifications

  • Possess a college degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Security or related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Job Summary

As a Contract Security Specialist, you’ll negotiate and manage third party security contracts and physical security operations on behalf of Rock Security and the Rock Family of Companies.


  • Gather information from multiple open source locations, including various media outlets, government agencies and subscription services
  • Create, review and edit various reports to be disseminated to leadership
  • Calmly and effectively handle high-stress situations
  • Manage dispatch console and dispatch accordingly using proper radio etiquette
  • Manage multiple email boxes, compose emails, and properly categorize emails
  • Assist with camera investigations
  • Complete Access Control requests
  • Teach and operate analytical and video surveillance systems to identify suspicious behavior and activity in or near owned and occupied properties
  • Collaborate with law enforcement partners by assisting with run sheets, badges, radios, and briefings
  • Handle, document, and route escalated calls/surveillance requests/concerns to leadership
