Internal Job Title: Planning & Investment Associate

Reports To: Lead Advisor/Executive Management

SUMMARY:

Curo Private Wealth, a growing financial planning and investment management firm, is seeking an Associate to support two Lead Financial Advisors. Your role will be critical in leveraging the Lead Advisors’ time as efficiently as possible. The Associate helps our team during all aspects of the financial planning process, client presentations, and reviews, while also performing due diligence on our investment portfolios. You will use your superior analytical and problem-solving skills to confidently provide timely information and client-focused solutions to our Advisors.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:

  • Mange financial planning client on-boarding, including gathering client data and input into eMoney planning software; prepare draft financial plans
  • Maintain client contact during the financial planning process; answer questions and provide information to clients
  • Review and update client information as needed for review meetings
  • Set up and retrieve reports in our portfolio performance system (Albridge)
  • Attend client meetings and take extensive notes
  • Complete post-meeting follow-up tasks and emails
  • Maintain updated summaries of clients’ financial plans
  • Analyze client information and prepare reports and presentations
  • Investment research of products, services, managers and pricing; contact carriers for information as needed
  • Analyze asset allocation, generate, and execute rebalancing trades
  • Create custom reports for analyzing purchase decisions and/or planning scenarios
  • Communicate with Advisors and team members regarding work in progress; participate in regular team meetings
  • Maintain and update client electronic files and CRM in an organized and consistent manner using established practices
  • Continue to learn and integrate new financial planning concepts and software updates into client plans and presentations
  • Communicate with our broker-dealer and/or custodian(s) to obtain information or account data and convey service requests

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is essential
  • Understanding of investment products and portfolio construction
  • Ability to conduct investment research and identify solutions
  • Excellent attitude and an extraordinary client service orientation
  • Able to meet strict trading and plan delivery deadlines
  • Experience/knowledge of building financial plans (i.e. e-Money, MoneyGuide Pro, etc)
  • Must be able to thrive in an evolving environment with high integrity
  • Dedicated to continuing education
  • Ability to adhere to rules and regulations as stated and required by firm, Kestra Financial, and FINRA

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: No

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years in similar role.
  • Undergraduate degree preferred.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

  • Series 7 and Series 66 licenses are required.
