This role reports to the Principal Audit Manager (PAM) for Investment Bank – Sales and Trading in New York, who in turn reports to the Chief Auditor for Investment Bank. You would support the PAM in the audit coverage of US Sales and Trading businesses (specifically Credit, Rates, FX, and Emerging Markets Trading. You will work with management and staff within Group Audit to deliver audits owned by the Investment Bank audit team. They will also provide participation in other audits owned outside of the Investment Bank audit team, as part of ‘front to back’ audit reviews.

What You’ll Do
Proactively leads or participates in day-to-day audit work, including audit planning, fieldwork, and reporting
Track and validate closure of internal audit issues and regulatory observations
Complete business risk assessments and contribute to the annual audit planning process
Work on ad hoc projects including methodology enhancements and regulatory inquiries
Pro-actively develop and maintain professional working relationships with colleagues, the Investment Bank in the US and respective support areas. Work in an integrated manner with fellow team members both locally and globally
Complete all work assignments on a timely basis – including planned audits, ad hoc projects, and special investigations
Skills You’ll Need
Undergraduate or equivalent degree required; advanced degrees and relevant professional certifications (e.g. CIA, CFA, etc.) preferred but not required
Extensive experience in an internal Audit role, covering Investment Banking (Sales and Trading) products
Sound audit knowledge and experience with an understanding of the risks and regulatory requirements relating to Investment Banking
Skills That Will Help You Excel
Flexible, pro-active, self-sufficient, with the ability and willingness to work in a high-pressure environment and deliver under tight deadlines
The ability to multi-task assignments and prioritize workloads with minimal supervision
A firm commitment to maintaining the highest professional and ethical standards and the ability to stand your ground when challenged
Big 4 audit or accounting experience is a plus
Programming knowledge or experience – preferred experience but not required

The salary range for this position in New York City is $115,000 to $155,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration
