Graebel Movers International, Inc. is seeking a Global Household Goods Coordinator to anticipate and plan the household goods move portion of a customer’s international relocation. Provide superior and proactive customer service to our customers, partners and internal teams. Perform all necessary logistical functions including planning, securing transportation and problem resolution.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Acts as the primary point of contact for all customer service throughout move process. – Performs initial contact with customer, explains benefits in detail, sets expectations regarding the move process and understands specific and significant concerns of the customers – Sets expectations with agents regarding expected levels of service and special needs – Responds accurately and timely to national account customers and transferees in regard to questions or problems. – Provides proactive updates to customers, agents, management and clients – Accountable for customer service metrics and Net Promoter Score goals.
  • Initiate, coordinate and monitor move services to ensure successful logistical coordination of each household goods move. – Anticipates challenges and plans the most effective shipment routing – Arranges for special logistical needs – auto shipment, specialty goods, artwork crating – Selects preferred vendor based on shipment routing, quality and pricing – Ensures OFAC and sanctions compliance – Provides guidance relative to customs requirements – Escalation management: monitors the activities of moves and resolve problems as they arise, engaging management when necessary.
  • Maintain profitability target of 20% retained revenue on all moves. This is achieved through: – Vendor selection and initial rate negotiation – Effective quoting and knowledge of shipment logistics – Maintaining low errors and omissions – Escalate any shipments that will potentially lose revenue when needed.
  • Accurately process billing paperwork within specified department time frames. – Knowledge of Client invoicing requirements – Timely collection of vendor invoices and supporting documents.
  • Maintain real time and accurate move information in the electronic move management system.

Required Skills

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures and numerical data
  • Ability to write simple reports and general business correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, customers and employees
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
  • Ability to perform proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word and Excel

Required Experience

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s Degree in International Business, Business Administration or Mathematics preferred. Three years of relevant experience acceptable in lieu of formal education..

Knowledge/Experience: Must have sufficient understanding of business principles. Prior International Forwarding experience is desired

Licenses/Certifications/Specialized Training: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). FIDI EiM certification a plus

Anticipated Salary and Benefits Summary – $40,040 in Colorado. Note: Disclosure as required by sb19-085 (8-5-20) of the minimum salary compensation range for this role when being hired into our offices in Colorado. Compensation in different markets will be based upon that market.
