Job Summary
The Group Fitness Manager will serve as the studio location manager and provide leadership and resources to our team of coaches, helping them reach their professional fitness potential, and ultimately driving fitness results of our membership. Whether providing a free class to a new member, ensuring the continued quality of class programming and member progression, or showing someone in class an alternative movement to keep them engaged, the Group Fitness Manager must establish themselves as a health and fitness authority within the QNTM network. Additionally, determining how to best communicate this expertise to the greater Nashville area. With your drive and expertise, we hope to continue to delight our membership, maintain a premium fitenss experience, and help more people live a fit life.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed the Budgeted Net Income on a Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual basis
  • Create and execute financial budget and overall business plan Set, Track and Report performance toward monthly, weekly and daily goals and objectives
  • Execute an effective prospecting strategy, to implement and closely monitor the member on-boarding system and assist in maximizing member retention & increasing ancillary revenue
  • Directly generate or oversee the creation of high quality Programming for all Class Formats
  • Establish a complete marketing plan, to include meaningful coordination across social media, paid advertising, and other communication mediums
  • Ensure accurate administration of Class Formats, providing consistent & enjoyable class experiences
  • Ensure Coaches are productive, that revenue and service goals are properly communicated such that the studio remains on-track to attain financial goals via regular monthly evaluations
  • Conduct monthly and/or weekly meetings with the Coaches to review performance and operations, as well as offer direction, motivation and guidance toward achieving personal and club goals
  • Develop, Manage, and monitor the class schedule, time, and attendance, and submit accurate associated payroll information as needed
  • Oversee the Recruitment, hiring, and management of Department Staff
  • Manage Department billing and accounting systems
  • Develop QNTM personnel into a group of high performing talent that will drive business
  • Regularly train and develop Department staff on industry updates, teaching these individuals how to be continually successful in an evolving landscape, and raising the standard of all QNTM Fitness Services
  • Ensure that team members consistently execute the basics in punctuality, dress code compliance, friendliness and cleanliness
  • Develop and promote Department related programs In Club and Digitally (Challenges, etc.)
  • Ensure Coaches are meeting required teaching & training minimums and hold up-to-date certifications
  • Knowledge of all fitness and non-fitness related programs taking place within the club
  • Serve as a point of reference for fitness expertise, educating members on current health and fitness issues and trends
  • Responsible for communicating and upholding company standards and leading by example for delivering a clean, friendly and well-maintained club
  • Actively participate in day-to-day club operations and special events as member of management team
  • Coach classes and Conduct personal training sessions as necessary
  • Additional duties as needed

Required Knowledge & Skills

Required Education, Experience, and Education

  • Associate degree or higher
  • Experience managing reports, budgeting, revenue, and payroll
  • Sales Experience
  • 1 years of studio management experience
  • 3 years of group fitness instruction or coaching
  • CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications (must be obtained within 60 days of hire)
