Customer Service Key Account Manager

Job Overview: Our Industrial Automation client, located in Englewood, CO, is seeking to add a NEW Customer Service Key Account Manager to their team. Customer Service Key Account Manager is responsible for the support of sales and customer service. To be successful in the role of Customer Service Key Account Manager, you must have strong sales experience, ability to promote the company brand, products and systems, and a background in industrial automation/machine building industry.

This is a Direct Hire role.
What you will be doing as a Customer Service Key Account Manager…

  • Responsible for customer support including, meetings, RFQ and other tasks as needed
  • Understand customer needs and ability to promote company products and systems
  • Develop relationships with clients that align with budgetary expectations, offering new products, presenting systems
  • Obtaining new business working with applications to find solutions for new clients
  • Ability to work Salesforce keeping up to date with all required records, creating reports a necessary
  • Utilize communication tools providing information on customer needs, issues and improvements
  • See project through once post sale ensuring expectations are met
  • Works alongside Customer Service Manager and Application Engineers
  • Read and interpret documents such as blueprints, drawings and user requirements
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Skilled in MS products such as Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Project with a focus in creating spreadsheets
  • Analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate technical details with a solid aptitude for numbers
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills you ideally bring to the table as a Customer Service Key Account Manager…

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years Engineering, Automation or Applications Engineering in the machine building industry
  • Interest in sales within the automation industry
  • 50% Travel required, including international
  • Technical writing
  • Validation knowledge is a plus
