We have a hybrid work environment. BDR team works in office together 3-4 days a week and works from home 1-2 days a week. We have an awesome office in the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle.

Jirav has created the next generation of budgeting and forecasting software for Business leader and Finance Leaders (CFOs, CEOs, VPs of finance, etc).

About the job

This is a paid internship. The internship program provides the opportunity for candidates to have a platform to learn SaaS tech sales, the Jirav platform, the culture at Jirav and come out of the internship with a full time job offer.

We have had our internship program in place for 3 years and have hired multiple people through this program who have gone on to be very successful at Jirav and other tech companies.

You will generate new business through outbound calls and targeted emails to potential clients. This position will be responsible for qualifying prospective customers through targeted questions about their business strategy then leveraging this information to align and sell Jirav’s product offerings. This position spends roughly 80% of the time on the phone/teleconference prospecting new clients. BDRs receive hands on training with an emphasis on strategic selling and a focus on researching targeted accounts. This position is a great way for individuals to gain in depth experience in a rapidly growing SaaS company.


  • Make cold, outbound outreach to potential new customers
  • Make outbound calls & emails to prospects who are deemed to reside in one of Jirav core vertical markets
  • Share information about Jirav and ask questions about the prospect’s business intentions
  • Discern propensity to buy and forward good potential leads to the Sales Account Executives to pursue
  • Schedule appointments between prospects and Account Executives
  • Learn the Jirav platform and be able to demo capabilities
  • Record prospect information in CRM database


Basic Qualifications

  • Currently seeking a university degree or relevant tertiary qualification
