Target some existing but mostly new clients with an innovative offering of Managed IT and Cyber Security Services & Strategy for small to medium-sized companies. You will develop business relationships and meet with business owners to discover how we can partner with them to best meet their technology needs. The ideal candidate is a confident outside sales professional with demonstrated experience in closing deals with the C-Suite level of decision makers.
Meet activity objectives for calls, appointments, proposals, and transactions closed. Manage an ongoing pipeline of business, maintain appropriate funnel in each aspect of the sales process to include closing ratio. Work with the Technical Account Manager (vCIO) to develop solutions. Our offering will generally be sold to a Business Owner, CFO, Controller, or Operations Manager. Most of the activity is in developing and closing new business with some ongoing account management.
Bachelor’s Degree in related field desired
B2B Sales/Business Development experience
Information technology or related IT/Phone Systems or software Sales experience
Skills and Experience Needed
Highly self-motivated, entrepreneurial thinker; assertive, flexible; continuous learner
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Works well in a team selling environment
Good presentation skills, listening skills also a must
Ability to overcome objections
Ability to follow a defined sales process and activities
Foundational understanding of the consultative, solutions sales process for information technologies and networking concepts with the ability to develop a conversational aptitude around general network technology
Base pay of $45,000
Commission on sales
Car and phone allowance
1st year expected income ~$80,000+
Existing client base established
