Overview

2022 Fall/Spring Internship | I/O Psychology (Master’s/PhD)
Who we are looking for: December 2022 – May 2023 (Master’s/PhD) graduates
Dates of Fall / Spring Internship: Starting Fall 2022 will last 10+ weeks
Internship Location: Remote (team leader is based in Dallas, TX)

The I/O Psychology Research Intern reports to the People Analytics Manger and will be learning about the responsibility for supporting all aspects of workforce research and analytics. The intern will work on projects across a variety of internal peers and clients doing work related to job analysis, practice analysis, competency modeling, selection, assessment, test validation, workforce planning, workforce analytics and training.

Primary Responsibilities

The I/O Psychology Research Intern will work as part of a research team on one or more projects with responsibilities that may include:

  • Conduct literature reviews
  • Perform data analysis
  • Work collaboratively on white papers geared toward new offerings for internal clients
  • Assist with the development of marketing materials
  • Contribute to job analysis and assessment projects
  • Develop an understanding of client needsÂ

Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently seeking a student in an I/O Psychology masters or doctoral program, with experience in a behavioral or social science research
  • Highly proficient in data management and analysis procedures.
  • Proficient in data analysis programs, such as SPSS and Excel. Familiarity with syntax driven analyses in software programs such as R is a plus.
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Fundamental understanding of job analysis and test development
  • Ability to use PowerPoint
  • Data visualization skills preferred, Tableau experience a plusÂ

Physical Demands

  • Physical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor), or adding machine
  • Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping
  • May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs
