What We Missed

What we missed is a weekly section in which we introduce some of the important immigration-related stories that caught our eyes this week, but we did not get a chance to discuss in detail.

The Dream9 were released from an immigration detention center in Arizona earlier this week!

This amazing series of pro-immigrant ads launched, which aim to sway Congress to pass immigration reform.

Pro- and anti-immigrant supporters clashed outside Rep. Blake Farenthold’s (R-Texas) office last week as advocates dropped off over 10,000 petitions asking Farenthold to support immigration reform with a path to citizenship.

Mark Zuckerberg vocally stated his support for immigration reform during the premier of Jose Antonio Vargas’ “Documented.”

Steven Krieser, a member in Wisconsin’s Department of Transportation, was fired for promoting a hateful anti-immigrant poster on Facebook. Good on you Wisconsin!
