The team at Atlas is used to hearing “you can’t” a whole lot. You can’t start an organization when you are all so young. You can’t attend college if you are undocumented. You can’t start giving services without funding and a big name board, you can’t you can’t you can’t.

Well, guess what? With the amazing resourcefulness, power, creativity and inspiration the young immigrant community provides, we can do ANYTHING! After all, our motto is not only “Developing Immigrant Youth” but also “Do It Yourself.”

Today we spent nearly 12 hours shooting a series of films on the rights of immigrant youth in the US. With a limited budget and running mainly off of volunteer support and the fantastic-ness of the team at Stay Tuned Productions, we believe we put together something really incredible!

Guess what? We can and we did and we will continue to do so!
